Linda Thompson Robertson (M.A., Art History, Vanderbilt University; J.D., Mississippi College School of Law) began her research of the property and family of James Hervey Boyd and Eliza Ellis Boyd in 2004. It is a work in progress that she strives to make as accurate as possible. She acknowledges, however, that nowhere is there more proof of the unreliability of hearsay evidence and the prevalence of human error than in genealogical research.
